The cast of The Tin Woman has been invited to present their excerpt at the American Association of Community Theatre Region 3 Festival! After presenting at the OCTA State Conference this past September, The Tin Woman was named as the Ohio alternate to the AACT Region 3 event, and just learned recently that they will be able to represent Ohio in the region festival.

Region 3 consists of community theatres from Michigan, Ohio, Illinois, Indiana, and Wisconsin. Each state holds a state festival with member community theatres presenting excerpts from that season’s shows, and 1-2 excerpts are then selected to advance to the Regional Festival.
This years Regional will be held April 28-30 in Beaver Dam, WI. From the regional festival, 1-2 excerpts will be selected to present at the AACT National Confernce, being planned for June 2023 in Kentucky.
While the Ohio Comm Theatre Assoc holds a state conference annually, the AACT Regional and National conferences take place every other year.

TCT hosted the 2022 Ohio Community Theatre Association West Regional on July 9th at the Barn.  The theatre presented an excerpt of The Tin Woman by Sean Grennan, and was invited to participate in the State Conference held Labour Day weekend at the Cherry Valley Hotel in Newark Ohio. The cast and crew were honored to be recognized with the following regional awards:
