THE TIN WOMAN INVITED TO PRESENT AN EXCERPT FOR AACT REGION 3

The cast of The Tin Woman has been invited to present their excerpt at the American Association of Community Theatre Region 3 Festival! After presenting at the OCTA State Conference this past September, The Tin Woman was named as the Ohio alternate to the AACT Region 3 event, and just learned recently that they will be able to represent Ohio in the region festival.

Region 3 consists of community theatres from Michigan, Ohio, Illinois, Indiana, and Wisconsin. Each state holds a state festival with member community theatres presenting excerpts from that season’s shows, and 1-2 excerpts are then selected to advance to the Regional Festival.
This years Regional will be held April 28-30 in Beaver Dam, WI. From the regional festival, 1-2 excerpts will be selected to present at the AACT National Confernce, being planned for June 2023 in Kentucky.
While the Ohio Comm Theatre Assoc holds a state conference annually, the AACT Regional and National conferences take place every other year.
